Embracing Qi: Meridian Touch and Qigong w/ Jennifer O’Hara
Note: This Program is Offered by Meridian Touch, not the Shambhala Center
Wednesday evenings, 7-8:15pm
A class that combines Meridian Touch Effortless Yoga and Qigong. Using gentle stretches, breath and mindfulness meditation we explore being present to our bodies. Meridian Touch is described as the Art of Letting Go and Qigong translates as breath exercises. By combining Meridian Touch and Qigong we cultivate our qi (energy) for body, mind and spiritual well being. Many Meridian Touch postures bring the added benefit of supportive and compassionate touch that the students learn to trade with each other. Qigong brings an added dimension to breath and awareness. Join us for a centering and restorative session! $15 per class, or $125 for a class card of 10 classes. Jennifer O’Hara, Dipl ABT is a Meridian Touch Effortless Yoga and Qigong Teacher. As part of her Mind-Body Therapies, she instructs her clients in qi cultivation and relaxation as a way to further support the harmonizing of qi (or energy). She began teaching to share these wonderful exercises with a wider audience. You can also learn more at www.meridiantouch.com
