Organizational Training

Workplace stress is taking a toll on America.  To help combat stress, which lowers productivity and is driving up health care expenditures, many organizations are looking into mindfulness. The yearly cost of health care today is close to $20,000 per employee, almost a $10,000 increase since 2000. The number one health problem in the US, according to the World Health Organization, is workplace stress.  This stress is manifesting in forms such as high blood pressure, obesity, inability to focus, less cooperation and teamwork, and psychological disorders.

Mindfulness is not a magic pill that cures stress overnight.  But done over time, research shows that mindfulness can have enormous benefits on individuals.  New research shows that mindfulness can lower stress, improve the immune system, and improve focus.  Mindfulness also promotes a caring culture, which can promote more cooperation, and result in better teamwork in the workplace.
