Prerequisite:

Students are required to have participated in Level 1: The Art of Being Human.

Class Description:

Having experienced a taste of basic goodness, we want to go forward. Meditation practice allows us to observe how we create a cocoon of habits to mask our fear. We begin to appreciate that there is no fundamental obstacle to experiencing basic goodness.

About the Teacher:

David Perrin is a meditation teacher and mentor in the Shambhala tradition. David is a MNDFL Lead Teacher and Director of the MNDFL Teacher Training, core faculty at the Institute for Compassionate Leadership, and Co-Director of the Teaching Mindfulness Training with Dr. Shanté Smalls and Ethan Nichtern. He is also a Licensed Creative Arts Psychotherapist. David serves as a Trustee at the Perrin Family Foundation supporting youth social justice projects in Connecticut. He is committed to anti-racism and anti-oppression in meditation centers, social institutions, and in his own practice. David lives in New York City with partner Anne Kenan, and their three children.

We offer program discounts to make most of our programs available to anyone who wants participate.  If the program price is an obstacle for you, please consider what you can afford, and offer as much of the program fee as you can.  When you register, mention the amount you can afford to pay in the comments section and pay the balance on the day of the program.

What is the Patron Price?

Those who are able to offer more than the regular program price can select the patron price option.  By selecting this option, your generosity is helping to cover the costs of those who may not be able to pay the full price of the program.
