Program Description

Cultivate strength of body and calmness of mind through the healing Taoist practice of qigong. Take this rare opportunity to receive instruction in two unique lineages, the Pre-celestial Limitless Gate School (Xiantianwujimen) and the Yiquan School, neither of which have previously been fully transmitted to students in the West. In Level One (Saturday), students will be instructed in various techniques of outer and inner qiqong. There are no prerequisites for Level One. In Level Two (Sunday), students will learn the Nine Self-Massage Techniques and the Twelve Devas Tendon-Changing system in their entirety.

Students need to have taken Level One in order to take Level Two. Please note that students should not teach any form of Xiantianwujimen or Yiquan Qigong without permission from the Lineage.

Information about the teacher

David Stone has been studying and practicing Taoist qigong under the guidance of Dr. Eva Wong, who is a 19th generation carrier of the Xiantianwujimen (Primordial Limitless Gate School) lineage since 2006. Dr. Wong has authorized David as an instructor in the lineage’s graduated program of qigong training. He is also a meditation instructor and shastri (senior teacher) in the Shambhala buddhist lineage. Mr. Stone studied with master Five Element acupuncturist Dr. J.R. Worsley and has practiced acupuncture in that tradition since 1995, currently in Chicagoland.
