Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program ONLINE
with Ann Shillinglaw
The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is an eight-week course designed to teach participants how to improve the quality of their lives as they work with various types of stress. The course will meet for 8 consecutive Wednesdays (6-8 PM Central).
This course includes guided instruction in mindfulness meditation practice; gentle stretching and mindful yoga; inquiry exercises and group dialogues; home assignments; and guided audio files. You will learn key elements of mindfulness as it relates to stress reduction and enhancing well-being. You will learn how to practice mindfulness techniques and integrate them into your daily life.
Participants are asked to make a commitment to MBSR meditation practice during the eight weeks of the course and to practice mindfulness in daily living. **Please note that there are eight 2 hour sessions.
A free online introduction to the program is offered on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 10AM. We highly recommend it. Register here to obtain the zoom link.
