We are very excited to introduce our new membership coordinator, Jamie Stevens! For those of you who don’t already know Jamie, she’s been involved with Shambhala since 2019. In 2021-22, she studied and took her refuge and Bodhisattva vow with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.
Shambhala Chicago is in a tremendous period of growth, and with an increase in program participation and membership, we’re excited to expand our team to continue to make our center a place of true community. Jamie has been active in our sangha for the past year and, as a member herself, we know she’ll do great things!
“I am excited and inspired to create a sangha that welcomes the diverse interests of our community,” Jamie said. “We all have many gifts that we can bring and share with others, and I am open to hearing, learning and taking action into how we can incorporate them into our center.”
