The open mic events offer the chance for people of all ages and from all walks of life to come together and celebrate in the spirit of artistic expression, and our West Loop center is uniquely situated to provide the setting for this cross-cultural celebration. All are invited to attend, whether you wish to share (read or recite poetry, sing, create a spontaneous poem… anything!) or simply enjoy the offerings. You are welcomed to bring food or drink to share, as this is a very informal, pot-luck-style community party!
